Jean N. Kami, 86, of Hilo, formerly of Ninole, died March 16 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born and raised in Kaimuki, Oahu, she graduated from Sacred Hearts Academy, attended University of Hawaii, was a retired school librarian, flight attendant for the former Pan-American Airlines, member of Wakabakai Sorority and Hilo Wine Society and volunteer at Lyman House Museum and Laupahoehoe School Library.
