The county Department of Environmental Management has announced a single-lane closure on Kinoole Street in downtown Hilo on Tuesday between Ponahawai Street and Alenaio Lane.
The closure is for repairs to existing sewer manholes.
The mauka (southbound) lane closure will be in effect for the duration of the repair work, which is expected to begin at about 7:30 a.m. and will continue until about noon.
