A Sunday afternoon fire destroyed an unpermitted home on Bamboo Lane in Ocean View.
According to a Fire Department statement, seven units responded to the 2:18 p.m. alarm, with the first unit arriving seven minutes later. Arriving units found the 30-foot-by-30-foot structure totally involved in flames
The fire was reported under control at 3:25 p.m. and extinguished at 4:50 p.m.
None of the occupants were injured.
Estimated damage was $25,000.
