Bonifacio Nicasio “Nick” “Bozo” Balingit, 87, of Hilo died June 6. He was a retired linotype ad setter for the Hawaii Tribune-Herald, member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, serving as a eucharistic minister, feeding the homeless through the church’s Feed the Hungry Ministry, member of the Francis Council Young Men’s Institute and Foresters, U.S. Navy veteran and avid runner, swimmer, cyclist and golfer. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker, retired co-owner with her late husband Andy of A and G Lindsey Brothers and A Lindsey Construction, radio host for KSFO in San Francisco, graduate of Kailua High School who attended City College of San Francisco, surfer and paddler.
