Bonifacia “Aunty Bonnie” Mamhot Aceret, 87, of Hilo died March at home. Born and raised in Hakalau, she was a retired teller for Finance Factors, operator for the former Hawaiian Telephone Co., taught music keyboard and choir at Kamana Senior Center and was a member of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday (June 28) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Celebration of life service at 10 a.m. Casual aloha attire. Survived by sons, Eulalio “Lio” (Nadine) Aceret Jr. and Emery Aceret of Hilo, Ellison (Tay) Aceret of Keaau; sister, Josephine Yokoyama of Hilo; brother, Benjamin Mamhot of Hilo; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
