Norma Jean Castaneda, 80, of Papaikou died Dec. 16 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pepeekeo, she was a retired certified nurse assistant at Life Care Center of Hilo, worked at the former Robert’s Bakery and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Militia of the Immaculata Prayer Group, and IHMC Filipino Catholic Club. Visitation again 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 10) at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Papaikou.
