Police seek leads on shoplifting suspect

Police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a man who allegedly shoplifted at a Keaau business establishment this week.

According to police, at 3:44 p.m. Monday, the man pictured was seen on video surveillance removing merchandise from the business.

He’s described as possibly in his 30s to 40s with a fair complexion, thin build and numerous tattoos. The suspect arrived in a dark-colored Nissan sedan, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300.
