Spencer Park closed for emergency repairs

Spencer Park at ‘Ohai‘ula will be temporarily closed beginning today due to a new water line leak, according to the Hawaii County Parks and Recreation Department.

If emergency repairs are successful, the park may reopen by Friday.

On August 16, a repair to the waterline was completed.

However, another rupture was discovered Tuesday requiring this additional repair.

The public will be informed as repairs progress.
