Ige releases design funds for Kohala HS gym

Gov. David Ige released $2.5 million in capital improvement project funds for the design of a gymnasium at Kohala High School.

“I’m very pleased that Gov. Ige is following up with the funding so that the students and community can reap the benefits of an updated and modern facility,” said Sen. Lorraine R. Inouye, a Democrat who represents the district. “An upgraded gymnasium will not only provide a top-notch indoor sports facility, but also a place where the school community can stage various events such as concerts and graduations.”
