The state Department of Health is partnering with community leaders to increase access to vaccines over Memorial Day weekend.
Vaccination sites are planned across the state at accessible locations such as malls, restaurants, farmers markets and a beach park and will augment the hundreds of sites statewide offering COVID-19 vaccinations.
On the Big Island, vaccines will be available from 8 a.m.-noon today at Prince Kuhio Plaza, 111 E. Puainako St.
Minors require parental consent for vaccination.
Inoculations are free, and no insurance is required, although individuals should bring an insurance card if they have one.
