Survived by children, Kuahiwi Glendon, Kamaehu Glendon and Ka‘olino Glendon of Kapu‘euhi and Keahi‘ena Hopkins and Kahanuolahou Hopkins of Hilo; parents, Edward and Sarah Glendon of Kapu‘euhi; sisters, Cybil (Grant) Glendon-Baclig of Kapu‘ehui and Tootie (Jerel) Glendon Lee of Waikele, Oahu; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Richard John Mitchell, 91, of Hilo died Jan. 20 at Legacy Hilo Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Turano, Canada, he was a retired office worker for Triple A. No services.
