An 83-year-old man died Thursday after a tractor overturned on an embankment on family property in Laupahoehoe, ejecting and pinning him underneath.
An 83-year-old man died Thursday after a tractor overturned on an embankment on family property in Laupahoehoe, ejecting and pinning him underneath.
The victim was identified as Samuel P. Kaaua of Waimea.
Kaaua was taken to Hilo Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8:36 p.m.
An autopsy has
been requested to determine the exact cause of death.
