Joanne Bousquet-Dodson, 74, of Nanawale Estates died April 1 at home. Born in Hollywood, Calif., she was a retired licensed practical nurse, worked at Waikoloa Elementary School and loved children, animals, knitting, making jewelry and crafting. Private services. Survived by daughters, Michelle Bousquet and Jennifer Carroll of Waikoloa, Brandy (Bob Raley) Bousquet of California; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Milton Andrew “Bully” DeLuz Sr., 78, of Paauilo died April 5 at home. Born in Honokaa, he was a rancher and retired utility equipment operator for the former Hamakua Sugar Co. Services at a later date. Survived by sons, Milton (Tanya) DeLuz Jr. and Brad DeLuz of Paauilo; daughters, Donna (Earl) De Silva of Kalopa, Carol (Wayne) Mathews of Hilo and Laura (Ernest) Balai of Volcano; brothers, Antone DeLuz Jr. and Rogers (Donna) DeLuz of Paauilo; sisters, Helen Figuera of Paauilo, Bernadette (William) Ferreira of Kalopa and Geraldine (George) Tavares of Papaaloa; sister-in-law, Alice DeLuz of Paauilo; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Yasuteru Fukunaga, 93, of Hilo died March 20 at home. Born in Kealakekua, he was a retired macadamia nut farmer and U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Private services held. Survived by wife, Sadako Fukunaga of Hilo; son, Earl Fukunaga of Hilo; daughters, Arleen (Peter) Fukuyama of Kohala and Carol (Russell) Gomes of Las Vegas; brothers, Takanari Fukunaga of Pahala, Yoshikage (Shinobu) Fukunaga of Honolulu, Suetaka (Vicky) Fukunaga, James (Ella) Fukunaga and Shigeyuki Fukunaga of Kona; sisters, Fujiko Ito of Pahala, Setsuko Toriano of Kona and Etsuko Sato of Honolulu; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Eugene K. Hao, 67, of Keaau died March 25 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. No services. Survived by fiancee, Kerrie Green of Hilo; daughter, Tammy Lynn Keanu of Hilo; brother, William (Donna) Matsu of California; sister, Henrietta Stone of Hilo; nieces and nephews. Hideto “Hide” Yanagisawa, 90, of Hilo died Feb. 17 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Onomea, he was a retired Hawaii Electric Light Co. electrician and member of Christ Lutheran Church in Hilo and Komohana Gardens Association. Celebration of life at a later date. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts).
