Kona man wanted for leaving scene of accident

Kona police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding Jake Branch, a 35-year-old man who frequents the Kailua-Kona, Holualoa and Ocean View areas.

Branch is wanted for leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving and resisting an order to stop, as well as several bench warrants for contempt of court.

He’s described as 6-foot-3-inches tall, about 285 pounds, with long brown hair. Branch is known to ride a black Yamaha FJ 1300cc motorcycle.
