The Kiwanis Club of East Hawaii invites the community to support the annual Kiwanis Miso Soup Breakfast from 7-10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at the Waiakea High School cafeteria.
The Kiwanis Club of East Hawaii invites the community to support the annual Kiwanis Miso Soup Breakfast from 7-10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at the Waiakea High School cafeteria.
Eat-in, or drive up and pick up breakfast-to-go. The meal will include homemade miso soup, rice, scrambled eggs, sausage and fruit.
This fundraiser supports service leadership programs including Easter Seals of Hawaii Island Aktion Club, University of Hawaii at Hilo Circle K, Hilo and Waiakea High Key Clubs, Waiakea Intermediate Builders Club, E.B. deSilva and Waiakea Elementary K-Kids as well as local Kiwanis sponsored projects in the community including the Easter Egg Hunt at Wong Stadium, Keiki Day, blood drives, and zoo cleanups.
Kiwanis also is committed to eliminating Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus worldwide, as well as preventing pediatric trauma.
