Collection for Operation Christmas Child underway

Collection is underway for Operation Christmas Child through Nov. 25. Children in desperate situations including war, poverty, famine and disease are in need of knowing someone cares.

Packing a shoebox gift sends a message of love and hope to other parts of the world. People can make a difference in the life of a child by a simple shoebox gift.

Local drop off locations are Hilo Missionary Church, Puna Covenant Church, Keaau, Hamakua First Assembly, Pepeekeo and Big Island Toyota.
