Sammy Lanaihoku Moses Jr., 56, of Hilo died Oct. 27 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he worked for Five Star Maintenance Co. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Casual attire; flowers and lei welcome. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park, Lehua Section. Survived by companion, Danise Varize of Hilo; mother, Cynthia (Peter Lee) Moses of Hilo; sister, Wendy (Derwin Taka) Moses of Hilo; sons, Namon (Noelani Rodrigues) Moses and Brandon (Sunshine Woodford) Guevara of Hilo; daughters, Braeden (Dominic Caraballo) Moses-Guevara and Brianne (Sharae Lee) Moses of Hilo; hanai daughter, Natasha Varize of Hilo; nine grandchildren; four nephews and two hanai nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

The late Alfred Galiza Sr. is survived by, among others, daughter-in-law, Linda Galiza of South Carolina, and 43 great-grandchildren. Incomplete and incorrect information was submitted for an obituary published Tuesday.

The late Wendy Tomiko Oye is survived by, among others, sister-in-law, Yukio Oye of Waimea. Her name wasn’t submitted for an obituary published Sunday.
