On Aug. 17, Lehua Hawaii Productions Inc. presented the seventh Miss Teen Lehua Hawaii and Young Miss Lehua Hawaii Pageant at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo.
On Aug. 17, Lehua Hawaii Productions Inc. presented the seventh Miss Teen Lehua Hawaii and Young Miss Lehua Hawaii Pageant at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo.
Tehani Kekuawela captured the title of 2019 Miss Teen Lehua Hawaii and Sweetie Leslie captured the title of 2019 Young Miss Lehua Hawaii. Kekuawela also won the scholastic achievement, popularity, People’s Choice, interview, lifestyle and fitness, talent and evening gown awards. Leslie walked away with the interview, talent and evening dress awards.
Jaynie Saragosa was named Miss Teen Lehua Hawaii 1st Princess and Kimara Imai was named Miss Teen Lehua Hawaii 2nd Princess.
Imai also won the photogenic, congeniality and Spirit of Community awards. Emi Yamanoha was named Young Miss Lehua Hawaii 1st Princess and also won the photogenic and congeniality awards.
Richlynn Udtohan was named Young Miss Lehua Hawaii 2nd Princess. Udtohan also won the popularity, People’s Choice and Disney costume awards. Jaelynn Cortez won the Sunshine Award.
Recruitment is open for the 2020 pageant.
