Peter Devera Garlitos, 94, of Keaau died June 6 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan, Philippines, he was a macadamia nut picker, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and U.S. Army veteran. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Monday, July 1, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Prayer service at 10 a.m. Casual attire; flowers and lei welcomed; burial at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 at 12 noon He is survived by wife, Maria Garlitos of Keaau; sons, Rodolfo (Maria Carmella) Garlitos, Manuel (Ester) Garlitos, Ruben (Wennie) Garlitos and Roberto (Marites) of Keaau; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jean Kikue Igawa, 76, of Redondo Beach, Calif., died April 21 in Redondo Beach. Born in Olaa, she was a retired software engineer for Raytheon Corp. Private services held.
