Police seek missing Hilo man


UPDATE: Police say Bryson Wong was found about 9 a.m. today in good condition at a local restaurant and was reunited with family.

Police are looking for Bryson Wong of Hilo.

The 24-year-old man was last seen in the Kaumana area. He’s described as 5-feet-8, 140 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, he was wearing a maroon T-shirt, black shorts, camouflage jacket and rubber slippers.

Police say Wong suffers from mental illness and needs family assistance.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
