All-you-can-eat Italian food for a good cause

Need an idea for dinner tonight? Been a minute since you’ve had Italian cuisine or are you just craving the hearty goodness of Italian food?

Do you want to lend a hand to a community organization in need of assistance?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, the the Kilauea Drama and Entertainment Network has just the event.

KDENte, a fundraising dinner for the community theater group, is slated for 6-8 p.m. today at Amalfatano’s Italian Restaurant at Waiakea Villas, 399 Hualani Street in Hilo.

For just $20, you get an all-you-can-eat buffet of Italian food and the opportunity to assist KDEN.

Your attendance will help support the community theater group as it deals with the temporary loss of its theater home at Kilauea Military Camp inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which remains closed because of near-constant seismic activity at the summit of Kilauea volcano.
