Hawaii County firefighters and other rescue workers searched Monday for a 67-year-old man who fell 20 feet of a cliff into the ocean in South Point.
The man, who was fishing off the cliff, was last seen by fellow fishermen around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, about 50 yards off shore.
Rescue workers conducted water and land searches in the area, including the use of a C-130 plane and Blackhawk helicopter, but found no sign of the man, according to a press release.
The fire department reported that it would begin the search again at first light today, with assistance from the Coast Guard and National Guard.
