The Hawaii Police Department advises motorists to anticipate delays in the area of Kawaihae Harbor from now until about 4 p.m. today.

There is a construction project within the harbor itself which is expected to result in delays for traffic on Kawaihae Road in the immediate area.

Use alternate routes if possible.
