More than 1,100 new cases on Big Island since Saturday

There have been 1,120 new COVID cases on the Big Island since Saturday.

According to the Department of Health, there were 408 new cases on the island on Saturday, 364 on Sunday, and today the DOH reported 348 new cases on the island.

Statewide, there were 4,148 new cases on Saturday, and 4,509 on Sunday. With the DOH reporting 3,875 new cases today, the total of new cases throughout the state over the past three days is 12,532.

Six new COVID hospitalizations but no new COVID-related deaths were reported statewide today.
