The Chinese Civic Association of Hawaii is pleased to announce its annual New Year Banquet, which this year celebrates the Year of the Boar.
The banquet will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center in Hilo.
The CCAH is a Hilo-based nonprofit organization that is dedicated to the study and celebration of Chinese culture and heritage.
According to President Dennis Lin, the banquet is one of CCAH’s most popular events and features a 10-course dinner prepared by the chefs of Sky Garden Restaurant.
This annual event regularly sells out early, so the public is advised to reserve a table or seat as soon as possible. The cost is $70 per person ($65 for members) and $650 for a table of 10. All tickets must be paid in advance.
