Peter John Ehlich, 74, of Hilo died March 27 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in New York, he was a retired therapist for the Department of Veterans Affairs, board of directors member of Crime Stoppers and U.S. Army Vietnam War-era veteran. Harold Koichi Kaneshiro, 87, of Pahala died March 6 at a private care home on Oahu.
