Police have identified a 30-year-old man killed when he lost control of his car Sunday on Highway 11 and crashed into the rock-wall sign fronting Manuka State Recreational Park in Ka‘u as Koa Kane Clark of Waikoloa.
Clark’s death is the 11th official traffic fatality this year, compared to 25 at this time last year.
