Kenneth Noboru Fukamizu, 79, of Hilo died Dec. 19 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired audio-visual technician for the University of Hawaii at Hilo, worked for the Department of Education and Peace Corps and was a U.S. Army veteran. Private services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by wife, de Ette Fukamizu of Hilo; son, Mark Fukamizu of Hilo; nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Duane Versery Niumalu Keanaaina, 69, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 28 at home. Born in Kalaoa, Kona, he was a retired land manager, Kamehameha Schools land steward and president of Club Kahauloa.
