A 44-year-old Kailua-Kona man charged with a reported Jan. 5 sex assault of a minor plus possession of marijuana and a marijuana concentrate is free after posting $15,250 bail.
Police say Waynerichard Ho turned himself in after detectives executing a search warrant on his home Tuesday found 7.6 grams of marijuana and 7.6 grams of marijuana concentrate.
Ho is charged with first-degree sex assault, second-degree promotion of a harmful drug and third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug.
His initial appearance is scheduled for Oct. 22 in Kona District Court.
