The University of Hawaii at Hilo Center for Community Engagement and the East Hawaii Cultural Center Youth Arts Series are partnering to present a Digital Pumpkin Patch and Fall Fundraiser in lieu of their annual Fall Break Camp and Haunted House.

Both events kick off Monday, Sept. 28.

Digital photos of entries must be submitted by Friday, Oct. 23. Participants must be 18 years old or younger. Entries can be real pumpkins, faux pumpkins or any homemade pumpkin form. A limited supply of kits is available by donation only, with free online video tutorials to provide inspiration for pumpkin creations.

Guidelines and information for supply kits are posted at www.ehcc.org/yaspumpkinpatch.

The Fall Fundraiser features Halloween-themed works created and donated by local crafters and artists, including Kellie Miyazu and RK Woods Hawaii. They will be available for purchase on the EHCC website. All proceeds will go toward the Youth Arts Series to continue to provide arts education to keiki of all ages.
