Police: Body found in Puna had ‘suspicious injuries’

An autopsy is scheduled today on the body of a man police think was the victim of foul play.

Police responded late Monday morning to the report of a body on an unpaved roadway in a remote area of Eden Roc subdivision.

According to police, the victim has “suspicious injuries” and detectives think the man, possibly in his 40s, was killed elsewhere and dumped in the remote location near the corner of Kahikopele Street and Ohia Avenue.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending positive identification and notification of family.
