A two-story home in Hawaiian Acres subdivision was destroyed by fire Wednesday afternoon.

According to a Hawaii Fire Department statement, 12 units responded to the 4:18 p.m. alarm of the house fire on Uhini Ana Road, also known as Road 1. The first unit arrived at the scene at 4:30 p.m. to find the 2,000-square-foot structure completely involved in flames.

The fire was reported under control at 4:50 p.m. and extinguished at 5 p.m.

No one was home and no injuries were reported.

The estimated loss is $301,500, and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
