Akito “Akat” Imai, 89, of Hawi died March 27 at Kohala Hospital. Born in Halawa, Kohala, he was a retired construction laborer, member of Kohala Jodo Mission and U.S. Army veteran. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Kohala Jodo Mission in Kapaau. Memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Casual attire. Inurnment service noon Monday, April 22, at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 in Hilo. Misuko “Mitzi” Inouye, 90, of Aiea, Oahu, died April 3. Born in Hakalau, she was a retired sales associate for J.C. Penney. Robert “Bobby” Manuel Jenkins, 88, of Holualoa died March 27 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired chief agent for Hawaiian Airlines, cattle rancher and macadamia nut farmer. Valerie “Val” Kealohi-Regohos, 56, of Kailua-Kona died March 24 at her family’s home. Born in Honolulu, she was a bus driver for Robert’s Hawaii, Iosepa Transportation and Speedi-Shuttle. Stewart Maruo Miyamoto, 63, of Kailua-Kona died April 3 at home. Keala Leopold Waiau, 59, of Kahului, Maui, formerly of Hilo, died March 19 at Hospice Maui Hale. Born in Honolulu, he worked for the County of Maui Department of Water Supply, was a member of Ke Aha Vineyard Christian Ministry Church, Hilo High School graduate and enjoyed skating, surfing and playing bass guitar. Visitation 11 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 29, at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului. Memorial service at noon.
