Children in grades K-6 gathered the morning of Dec. 8 to participate in Waiakea High School’s Healthy Keiki Fun Run.

The event was created to promote a healthy lifestyle to the children of the Big Island. There were three races, all about 1,500 meters long and separated by grade level.

In addition to the races, there were games and health booths to continue to promote healthy options.
