Anita Kathleen Durst, 65, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 18 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in Oklahoma City, she was a cashier for KTA and Sack N Save stores. Private services. Ah Ho Wong Mahuna, 92, of Waimea died Aug. 12 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Volcano, she was a retired business office supervisor for the former Hawaiian Tel, member of New Hope – Hilo and founding member of Orchid Isle Dog Fancier Club. Visitation 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday (Aug. 31) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Urn burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Born in Laupahoehoe, he was a retired truck driver for Meadow Gold Dairies, member and former Bishop of the Keaukaha Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and U.S. Army World War II veteran.
