A variety of vehicles including race cars, classics, imports, cruisers and trucks will be on display from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday during Hawaii Community College’s second annual Auto Body Repair &Painting Auto Show at the Manono campus.
A variety of vehicles including race cars, classics, imports, cruisers and trucks will be on display from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday during Hawaii Community College’s second annual Auto Body Repair &Painting Auto Show at the Manono campus.
The car show and fun-filled family event is free and open to the public. Automotive fans can meet many fellow car enthusiasts from VW Pickers, Hawai’i Classic Cruizers and more.
The event will begin with an impressive vehicle start-up and roll out parade. There also will be bands providing live entertainment, door prizes, refreshments and bentos from Cousins Seafood &Bento. Proceeds will benefit the HCC auto body repair and program.
The college’s auto body repair and painting program offers an associate of applied science degree and a certificate of achievement.
The program provides classroom and hands-on live lab training that represents the latest technological trends in the industry. Alumni established successful careers on Hawaii Island and elsewhere as auto repair professionals and business owners.
