Ginny Aste, one of the early champions of building the Pahoa skate park, removes the lei at the entrance of the park Saturday during a dedication ceremony and 10-year anniversary celebration. The park was renamed the Pahoa Ginny Aste Skatepark and the dedication was followed by a “skate jam” that included music, food, face-painting and, of course, skateboarding.
