During a recent luncheon in Hilo, First Hawaiian Bank, through its foundation, gave $15,000 to the Island of Hawaii YMCA.

The donation was made to support the YMCA and its Family Visitation Program and center. The program assists families experiencing difficult divorces and separations by providing a safe environment where supervised visitations with the children involved can take place.

The center also facilitates safe exchanges between parents.

The YMCA is conducting its annual campaign to raise funds needed to support programs such as the family visitation and fitness centers and the Y’s youth programs.
