Yes, Hilo High’s softball team is clearly going through a rebuilding season, but it’s not everyday that Ka’u comes to Walter Victor Stadium and comes away with a TKO victory.
Such was the case last Thursday, when the Trojans beat the Vikings 22-11 for their first victory of the season.
More than any other player, Ka’u coach Donovan Emmsley credited his pitcher, Silva-Kamei, with making it happen.
