The county Department of Parks and Recreation invited seniors 55 and older to attend the free event that featured health screenings, seminars, vendors, entertainment and door prizes. The Akamai Living Fair is co-sponsored by Parks and Recreation’s Elderly Activities Division and Hawaii Medical Service Association. The next fair is stated for 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Nove. 3 at the West Hawaii Civic Center in Kailua-Kona.
