Benjamin “Ben” Kealoha Fronda, 45, of Holualoa died June 12 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, he was co-owner and milkman for Fronda & Son Distributors, member of Ku Kane O Ka Makani Motorcycle Club and former member of Aliis Motorcycle Club. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Kona Baptist Church, 78-7156 Puuloa Road next to Keauhou fire station. Service at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial run to celebration of life at Umeke’s Restaurant. Casual attire; lei welcome. Survived by parents, Ernest and Sue Fronda of Holualoa; sisters, Oleana (Kainoa) Kiyuna and Mahealani (Walter Henerelau) Fronda of Holualoa; hanai son, Trenton Islaias of Honokaa; grandfather, Robert Goold of Kailua-Kona; nieces, nephews and friends. Gertrude Mieko Wagner, 84, of Pearl City, Oahu, died May 2 in Pearl City. Born in Pepeekeo, she was a 1951 graduate of Hilo High School who loved singing, dancing, cooking and playing with her sons and grandchildren. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel on Oahu. Memorial service at 6 p.m. Survived by husband, Michael Wagner; sons, Peter (Colette) Wagner, Jordan (Gayle) Wagner and Jon (Vera) Wagner; sister, Florence Ah Sing of Hilo; five grandchildren.
