HFS FCU raises $34,000 for Children’s Miracle Network

HFS Federal Credit Union members and staff raised more than $34,000 for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children through the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

HFS Federal Credit Union members and staff raised more than $34,000 for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children through the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Each of HFS FCU’s seven offices raised funds for CMNH through early May and June in support of the services they provide for the local community and its families. In addition, CO-OP Financial Services’ Miracle Match donated an additional $10,000.

These donations are part of the credit union’s 2013 pledge to contribute $500,000 in five years to help rebuild and expand Kapiolani Medical Center.

HFS Federal Credit Union is the largest credit union on the Big Island, serving more than 48,500 members islandwide. Membership is open to all who live, work, attend school, volunteer or participate in associations headquartered on Hawaii Island.
