Police have charged a Mountain View man for allegedly stealing one pickup truck and attempting to steal another.

Police have charged a Mountain View man for allegedly stealing one pickup truck and attempting to steal another.

On March 4, a Toyota pickup truck was stolen from the parking lot of a convenience store in Mountain View. Investigation led to the identity of the suspect as 30-year-old Christopher Lucrisia, police said.

Police arrested Lucrisia Thursday in Hilo. Further investigation determined that Lucrisia attempted to steal another Toyota pickup truck on June 9 in Hilo, police said.

At 11:15 a.m. Thursday, Lucrisia was charged with auto theft and unauthorized entry to a motor vehicle. His bail was set at $10,000. His initial court appearance was scheduled for Friday.
