Parker School proudly unveiled its fully redesigned and user-friendly website — www.parkerschoolhawaii.org — which provides Parker families and the public with easier and greater access to important resources across all devices.
The updated website showcases the school’s new look, a result of a yearlong process to rework Parker School’s brand. Headmaster Carl Sturges said the branding effort focused on creating an updated, accurate representation of the school’s mission.
“From our research, we learned that people already feel good about Parker School: our sense of family, or ohana, our nurturing atmosphere, our impressive academic and arts programs, as well as our growing athletic programs,” Sturges said. “We know who we are, we just wanted to better communicate who we are to the general public.”
Parker’s long-standing values of excellence, integrity and compassion remain steadfast and unchanged. To best reflect these values, the school’s marketing committee updated the mission statement, created even stronger value objectives, commissioned a powerful new logo and spearheaded the brand style guide that improved the school’s print and online presence. Most importantly, the new website and branding collectively honors the history and roots of the school, the community and the aina.
The website harmoniously highlights and weaves together all written and visual elements that make the Parker School brand. These elements add up to something useful, distinctive and memorable, making sure of the quality and consistent representation and communication of Parker’s mission, to Parker’s ohana and the public.
The new Parker School website is not purely an aesthetic, clean and modern transformation. It offers easy-to-navigate functionality and a content-rich site experience. As part of the branding effort to better engage and empower Parker families, the redesigned website allows visitors to access relevant information and resources with straightforward accessibility. Parker’s new website was built with “search” in mind, allowing visitors to quickly find the information they are seeking.
