Police are seeking the public’s help to solve a December vehicle theft at Keaukaha Military Reserve in Hilo.

At 9 a.m. on Dec. 8, officers responded to a report of a burglary at the Keaukaha Military Reserve on Kekuanaoa Street and learned that a Polaris Ranger utility vehicle valued at $16,000 had been removed from a bunker on the base.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective Dean Uyetake at 961-2379 or dean.uyetake@hawaiicounty.gov. Those who prefer anonymity may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
