N2 Dance performing arts school is hosting a fundraiser at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hilo High School auditorium.

Funds raised by the dance performance, “N2 Dreams Inc. — Dream Interpretation Through Dance and Voice,” and sponsorships will help send 10 East Hawaii keiki and teens to Oahu on May 22-23 to compete in “Spotlight,” a national dance competition.

Presale tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for keiki younger than 10. Tickets at the door are $15 and $10, respectively. Tickets are available online at www.heluekahicarpetcleaning.com/N2-Dance-Online-Payment.html and also at Big Island BookBuyers in Hilo, Keaau Natural Foods in Keaau and Jeff Hunt Surfboards in Pahoa.

N2 Dance (pronounced “in to dance”) is a performing arts school specializing in hip-hop and jazz dance and voice. N2 Dance also is an abbreviation for the performance compound of “no limits” and “na‘au” (heart and soul).

The performing arts school was started in August 2001 in Honolulu by husband and wife dancers, choreographers and teachers Maika and Angela Woods. They moved to the Big Island in 2005, and classes now are conducted at the YWCA of Hawaii Island in Hilo. No YWCA membership is required for classes.

N2 Dance maintains high moral values in music, choreography and costumes while providing high-quality instruction in a fun atmosphere.
