Waiakea’s Trevor Hirata took medalist honors by carding a 4-over 76 at Kohanaiki Golf and Ocean Club, teammate Shon Katahira was in second with a 78 and the Warriors wrapped up the Big Island Interscholastic Federation boys team golf title.

Kaley Saludares led the girls competition with a 70 for Waiakea, which secured the girls team title last week. Teammate Anne Nakamoto was three strokes back in second.
