Police are investigating a warehouse and office burglary at the Island Princess Macadamia Nut facility in Keaau.

Police are investigating a warehouse and office burglary at the Island Princess Macadamia Nut facility in Keaau.

Between 4 p.m. Dec. 12 and 3:45 p.m. Sunday, a burglar or burglars entered the facility at 16-261 Shipman Road and stole electronic components for a macadamia nut quality control machine, police said. The components look like internal computer parts or camera cards and are valued at more than $8,000.

The parts, which were manufactured by Satake USA, may bear the company’s imprint.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police nonemergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Brian Souki at 966-5835.

Those who prefer anonymity may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
