Police are seeking a 27-year-old Hale Nani work furlough inmate who failed to return to the Hilo facility Wednesday after job seeking.

Jordan Kaneshiro is described as 6-foot-tall and 320 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes and is classified as a community custody inmate, the lowest security level.

Kaneshiro was serving a sentence for terroristic threatening and domestic abuse. According to a Department of Public Safety statement, he’s also likely to be charged with second-degree escape.

Kaneshiro’s next parole hearing is scheduled for January.
