The public is invited to a “Very Special Christmas with Frank De Lima and the Waiakea Intermediate Ukulele Band” from 11 a.m. -1 p.m Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Prince Kuhio Plaza.

The public is invited to a “Very Special Christmas with Frank De Lima and the Waiakea Intermediate Ukulele Band” from 11 a.m. -1 p.m Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Prince Kuhio Plaza.

The program is presented by the Exchange Club of Hilo as part of the organization’s initiative in the prevention of child abuse awareness.

Hawaii County Prosecutor Mitch Roth, a member of the Exchange Club of Hilo, will be the emcee. Community agencies will provide information at the Child Abuse Awareness Table. There also will be a Keiki ID Station, along with activities for kids. McGruff the Crime Dog will make a special appearance, and other family friendly activities will be available.
